International Baccalaureate Organization (IBO)
The German-American International School is an IB World School. The IB World School designation reflects the fact that the school implements the IBO programs in its preschool and school, and these have been evaluated by the IBO. The GAIS program for students from preschool to Grade 5 has been authorized by the IBO. The IB program in the middle school has been implemented, and we expect it to be reviewed for authorization by the IBO in 2012.
Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC)GAIS is accrediated by WASC.
