New Students
The preschool has multi-age class groupings of children from 3 to 5 years of age. No prior knowledge of German is required for the preschool, though it can be beneficial. The German language immersion nature of the Preschool program gives students a solid linguistic foundation for transitioning into the regular GAIS academic program.
As such, priority is given to families intending to enroll their children into the GAIS Elementary School program. In the best interest of our children, we also review applications with an eye to maintaining a class balance of language background, gender and age.
All children enrolled in our program must be potty-trained. They should also have a ce
rtain degree of independence (e.g., be able to change clothes, have some prior experience playing with other children in a group).
How to Apply
When you have made your decision to enroll you child at our school, please fill out the application form and send it to the school with a $75 application fee. The school will inform you of the status of your application in writing. Once you have been notified of acceptance, you will then be asked to fill out an enrollment contract and pay the $550 annual enrollment fee and a tuition deposit.
At that point your child will have a confirmed place in the school. Before attending school, a series of forms and health records will need to be submitted to the school office.
