“Our youth are technically adept consumers and creators of media. The high tech world is their major means of communication and entertainment. In this seminar, you will learn about this digital landscape including how youth are using social networking, blogs, chat rooms, instant messaging, texting, sexting, and gaming. We will explore the potential issues and problems our youth confront with digital technology such as cyber bullying, child obesity, predators, damage to digital reputation, and addictive behaviors. You will walk away with practical solutions and strategies for wise media management and teaching kids safe, healthy and responsible use of digital technology.”
