Grade One Commencement Ceremony

The German-American International School (GAIS) offers classes from preschool to eighth grade. Its mission is to provide an outstanding international, bilingual education focused on inquiry-based learning with the goal to foster confident, respectful, creative and responsible lifelong learners and global thinkers.
Students follow a German bilingual program through 4th grade. In the Middle School, there are both German and English programs. New students are welcomed into the school in 5th grade in the English-language program that offers German, Spanish and French language options.
GAIS prepares students to be world citizens and lifelong learners. GAIS follows the academically rigorous, inquiry-based, transdisciplinary programs developed by the International Baccalaureate Organization.
